What is Medicaid?

Medicaid is a government-funded program that provides healthcare coverage to qualified, low-income Michigan residents. This includes families with children and pregnant people, medically needy individuals, the elderly and people with disabilities.

To find out if you’re eligible for Medicaid or Healthy Michigan Plan, visit MI Bridges. Call 1-888-ENROLLS (1-888-367-6557) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. TTY users, call 1-888-263-5897. You can also visit healthcare4mi.com.
