Our Community Resource Hub can help connect you with the resources you need close to home. To use this resource, enter your ZIP code into the search box below. Wellness and Opportunity Center

Blue Cross Complete of Michigan’s Wellness and Opportunity Center is designed to support your health and well-being. We’re here to connect you to health and community resources through a caring team of health professionals.

We offer a welcoming atmosphere where all are treated with respect, cultural sensitivity and care. Stop by and see us! If you have a specific need related to a health condition, schedule an appointment with your care manager. They will be happy to meet with you.

We offer the following:

  • Member benefits information
  • On-site Blue Cross Complete representatives, including community health navigators, case managers and social workers
  • Health and wellness information, including dental care
  • Community resources and referrals
  • Referrals to job training and employment opportunities
  • Health plan programs, including resources for the Mission GED diploma program
  • Events and activities — check this page for scheduling information.

The Wellness and Opportunity Center is located at the Durfee Innovation Society, a community hub with drop-in services for kids, teens and adults. Housed in a renovated former middle school building in Detroit, Michigan, Durfee offers a thriving location with many amenities and services. Learn more about the Wellness and Opportunity Center.

Stress, anxiety and abuse support

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

Call or text 988 if you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis. 988 offers 24/7 access to trained crisis counselors who can help people experiencing mental health-related issues, such as:

  • Thoughts of suicide
  • Mental health or substance use
  • Emotional distress

988 serves as a nationwide entry point so — no matter where you live in the United States — you can reach a trained crisis counselor.

24-hour Nurse Help Line

Our 24-hour Nurse Help Line can help you get answers to your health questions right away. It’s a confidential service for Blue Cross Complete members. Call 1-888-288-1724, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. TTY users should call 1-888-987-5832.

Virtual behavioral health urgent care

Common Ground offers virtual behavioral health urgent care at behavioralhealthurgentcare.org. This is useful if you’re experiencing serious mental health symptoms, including if you’re already receiving mental health treatment elsewhere but can’t get an appointment with your regular provider. 

Medicaid members can meet with a licensed practitioner at no cost. Same-day appointments are often available. Services are available for people ages 18 and older Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
